A leading oil & gas and maritime services company serving oil & gas companies, offshore operators, and corporate bodies across the Gulf of Guinea for over 30 years.
Austin Maritime & Engineering Services (AMS), incorporated in 1994, has grown from a single business line into a diverse, full-service maritime and oil & gas operation serving Cameroon and the Central African Sub-Region. Driven by the technical knowledge and experience of its founder, AMS delivers offshore and onshore support services at international standards and locally competitive prices, with professionals who blend economics and maritime expertise into client-delivery-focused project teams.
Operating across key hydrocarbon basins: including the Rio del Rey and Douala/Kribi-Campo; AMS provides vessel deployment, port agency, rig management, crude oil brokerage, and specialist human resources services tailored to the demands of a demanding industry.
Certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and BS 18001:2007 standards, AMS combines rare local expertise with international-grade quality management to deliver critical, safe, and cost-effective operational solutions across the Gulf of Guinea. Today, AMS is expanding its offshore vessel supply operations and actively seeking strategic investment partners, offering a dual-track model via service-led operations and operator-focused pathways through Production Sharing Contracts.

The Gulf of Guinea enjoys wide geographical, geological, and cultural diversity — rich in oil, forestry, and mining. Its natural resources are exported by sea to global markets, generating immense maritime activity. Cameroon sits at the heart of this opportunity.
Central Location. Cameroon is geographically positioned at the centre of the Gulf, making it easy to reach any point in the region from its ports.
Gateway for Landlocked Nations. Cameroon serves as the maritime gateway for Chad, the Central African Republic, and North Congo.
Political Stability. The country's peace and political stability give it a clear advantage over other nations in the sub-region.
Growing Demand. Major Oil & Gas and offshore companies are increasingly choosing Cameroon as their operating base — and demand for maritime services is rising daily.
Our Edge. Our deep roots in the local environment, combined with international-standard expertise, make us uniquely positioned to serve clients operating in this space.
